The Product Manager is the core marketing owner and driver of the success for the MitraClip product line in the Structural Heart business unit. This role will focus on marketing for MitraClip, MR and the various products within the U.S. This position will work closely with the sales team and be responsible for aspects of US strategy development plus Forecasting, Financial and Marketing Plan Development, Sales Materials and Training, Pricing, and Materials Management.
The Product Manager shall maintain US product expertise for MitraClip products including market sizes/trend share, customer needs and targeting, product performance/benefits/weaknesses/positioning.
The Product Manager shall provide on-going field support and will focus on growing the market awareness for MitraClip and related disease states, including launching a new product in 2019.
Success will be measured against sales and margin expectations, sales force competency/knowledge level and development of marketing programs which enhance field and customer experience.
The Product Manager will report to the Director of US Marketing Structural Heart and will have primary marketing and budget responsibility for designated products.
In this core Marketing role, the PM will drive and be held accountable to deliver Sales, Margin, and PEx goals for designated products.
The Product Manager will be expected to be responsive and able to directly address questions and requests of senior management including the AAH DVP.
Bachelors Degree with at least 4 years experience, with at least two years experience in marketing or product management, or an MBA with 3 years of related experience. Previous experience in IVD, Medical Devices or a related health care industry is preferred.
