Acara Solutions is seeking a Marketing Manager for a client located in Watervliet, NY.
You'd be working on a dynamic, state of the art manufacturing company, located in the Greater Capital District. We specialize in the design and manufacturing of highly engineered sealed products used on high tech analytical or processing equipment. Servicing a wide range of market segments from Semiconductor to Homeland Security. We utilize the latest equipment and processes to join advanced materials including: metalizing of ceramics, high temperature brazing, glass-ceramic sealing, welding, and critical mechanical assembly.
Position Summary:
The Marketing Manager will be a vital member of the business team who will provide creativity, innovation, strategical thinking, and leadership skills. This is a solo multifaceted Marketing position with responsibilities to manage all aspects of the department. Applicants must have technical & manufacturing knowledge and experience. The Marketing Manager is responsible for proactively promoting, optimizing, and communicating the capabilities and sales of our technical products and capabilities through the following:
  • Website Maintenance and Optimization
  • New Product Implementation
  • Trade Show Management
  • Press Releases
  • Marketing Materials
  • Analytics
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    (Other duties may be assigned)
  • Perform market research and analysis to support revenue growth and goals; to include updating price list on standard products.
  • Develop tradeshow schedules and coordinate all activities; to include managing yearly tradeshow selections, applications, and attending when needed.
  • Identify new distributors; communicate, monitor, support, and train international distributors; to include managing distributor contracts.
  • Monitor and establish catalog product pricing based on current costs, and market costs.
  • Generate customer satisfaction surveys and report on customer satisfaction scores
  • Promote new products.
  • Manage and update the company website, to include SEO.
  • Develop campaigns using Constant Contact for direct email.
  • Produce SST literature (brochures/catalogs)
  • Coordinate lunch & learns
  • Produce Video or Webinars to demonstrate SST s capabilities

    TRAVEL: This position requires traveling of approximately 5 times per year.

    Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Must be a US Citizen (this position is located on an Army base)
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience in a technical, manufacturing, or engineering field
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration
  • Ability to perform each of the above listed duties successfully
