Summer Intern - Brand Management
As a Brand Management Intern, you will support the Kryptonite Brand Manager on projects related to driving brand strategy and product roadmap development as well as supporting projects that drive an increase in brand awareness. What You Will Do:
* Present a new component (program/service) to the Kryptonite end-user experience that will contribute to increased brand awareness, increase sales and customer retention * Lead project discussions with sales and marketing teams * Initiate internal team survey to gather feedback/rankings for the new component to the end-user experience * Research & analyze costs associated with the top 3 ideas to assist the team with decision-making * Present business case for the proposal to include financials and technology needs with associated timelines * Manage a PR campaign for the launch of a new product in 2020 to support NPD revenue target * Prepare marketing materials and product samples for launch * Work with PR manager on list building for all relevant media * Send pitches to media with key messaging on new product * Monitor for media placements and communicate \"wins\" to internal team and to GPS organization * Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion.
What You Need to Succeed:
* Student currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Management, Business Administration with a graduation date between December 2020-December 2022 * Preferred: Student currently enrolled and pursuing a Master's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Management, Business Administration with a graduation date between December 2020-December 2022 * Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship * Good ethics & judgment * Ability to work independently and as a team player * Preferred overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 * Geographically flexible and willing to relocate during the internship program * Preferred: Interest in cycling, cycling industry, and/or the outdoor industry
