Position Overview

Directs business development strategy and contributes to the development and implementation of overall assigned business unit sales and marketing strategy. Directs market research and analysis of potential business opportunities. Ensures support and maintenance of existing relationships. Negotiates contracts and collaborates with internal resources to facilitate marketing plans to ensure profitability.




Job Responsibilities

  • Directs business development strategy and contributes to the development and implementation of overall business unit sales and marketing strategy.
  • Directs efforts to acquire external clients including targeting prospects, maintaining contact, developing and making presentations and transitioning new clients.
  • Assists in continual development and implementation of marketing programs.
  • Collaborates with internal resources to leverage data and reporting to support maintenance and development of new and existing clients.
  • Develops new and existing strategic partnerships through the execution of account management and sales techniques.
  • Negotiates terms and conditions of contracts; collaborates with all departments on contracts and marketing plans to ensure profitability.
  • Collaborates with internal resources to leverage data and reporting to support maintenance and development of new and existing clients.
  • Develops and delivers major account presentations.



Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Advertising or Marketing; Masters degree preferred
  • 8 years experience in a related field
  • Experience in Consumer Products Marketing/Advertising on the Client or Agency side preferred
  • Prior supervisory/management experience required
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Skill in project and process management
  • Skill in analytical and financial research, reporting
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information-- especially in the area of selling/servicing clients/customers
  • Ability to get results and show high energy/internal work motivation
  • Ability to lead and maintain a competent, motivated and qualified staff
  • Ability to translate strategic business objectives into COE goals and objectives
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm s reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.

Incumbent will be subject to:

  • Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
