Director, Business Development
We're looking for a business development director to join our team! This role will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and driving new business opportunities for meetings management and venue sourcing clients. You will work closely with BCD Travel, marketing, and our sales partners in other lines of business in order to conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email, webinar, push/pull marketing campaigns and in person.
Your responsibilities
* Establish new sales opportunities by researching and identifying sources of leads.
* Identify decision makers within targeted leads to manage the sales process
* Support enterprise sales organization by helping to build and grow proactive lead generation target list by industry vertical.
* Ability to articulate the BCD & BCD Meetings & Events value proposition and brand positioning within the marketplace.
* Engage global colleagues as necessary to facilitate, support and collaborate on global meetings management opportunities.
