Strategic Planning and Execution Manager

Portland, OR

In this role you will partner with the Consumer Solutions Integration senior management team to facilitate development and execution of business strategies by leading strategic planning projects, providing relevant data insights and reporting, driving communications and change management, and overseeing administrative processes such as performance metrics and strategic planning documents. Responsible for ensuring the alignment of strategy, business and talent. Create an environment that promotes operational excellence.

* Provides thought leadership and analytical thinking and industry to develop foundational strategies and operations. Facilitates prioritization, scope control, and resource allocation decisions with the Leadership Team.

* Facilitates CSI strategic planning process. Assesses on-going progress toward strategic goals and recommends revisions to the strategic plan based on evaluation of results.

* Facilitates the process and related discussions to develop short and long range strategic and tactical plans, goals and objectives for the CSI function.

* Helps develop and communicate organizational objectives and team goals. Ensures objectives remain consistent with the overall business strategy. Tracks objectives to ensure results are achieved on schedule, and according to defined scope.

* Identify critical risks and issues and drive issue resolution; escalating to senior management/stakeholders, using contingency planning and demonstrating appropriate risk management.

* Leads change management, organization design, communication and organizational transformation initiatives.

* Coordinate effective communication among teams and stakeholders.

* In close partnership with CSI senior management team, establishes and drives the department communication and change management strategy and related key messages for stakeholders across the organization.

* Uses strong knowledge of department strategies and initiatives to represent the senior leader and the Leadership Team in various forums.

* Oversees and provides support for key administrative processes for the department such as reporting key performance metrics and preparing strategic documents.

* Builds, develops and manages staff to ensure a high performing team.

Minimum Requirements:

* The Strategic Execution and Operations Manager would have a Master s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field, 8+ years of experience working directly with senior management to identify, develop and execute strategic initiatives, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Strong influence, communication, facilitation, and change management skills with all levels of the organization, including the ability to resolve issues and build consensus among groups of diverse stakeholders.

* Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking, identifying key business issues and opportunities, creating business strategies and driving results across internal teams and/or external partners.

* Comprehensive knowledge and experience in applying strategic thinking to digital transformation within the enterprise.

* Experience and high degree of comfort with Agile management of strategies involving cloud based technologies, business processes, talent management and upskilling, and data.

* Ability to drive initiatives and bring people together across multiple locations, lines of businesses, and functions.

* Experience in constructing actionable business strategies and implementing new or revised business and operational processes.

* Experienced people leader with proven direct and indirect people leadership skills.

* Strong problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to think about business problems in new ways and the ability to clarify key issues in and achieve participation in complex situations.

* A proven team player with the ability to partner, maintain and develop relationships.

* Able to lead, manage and motivate others and thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment.
