The Product Cycle Manager, Senior is the individual with accountability for project execution of cycle related efforts and is accountable to the PDM/Sr. Program Manager to deliver the desired project outcomes.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities: Day-to-day leader of project activities and resources for assigned LOB product launch End-to-end product cycle launch and maintenance for assigned LOB, including tactical planning with cross-functional teams within product and across the enterprise Track OE Deliverables to maintain compliance Support Sales team throughout the year to provide a positive member experience Develop the end to end schedule and management of plan and scope Securing project resources which includes: resource management & production Project scope management and monitoring Project risk and mitigation planning and monitoring Project team problem solving Involvement in Change Management
Key activities: Determine project complexity and engage BSC Compliance and Privacy departments Resource planning to support peak times during the cycle year Assigning and monitoring fulfillment work for Core/Custom/Premier Engage IT Application Manager early in initiation and planning phases for projects with an IT component Develop project budget and task schedule and drive project through funding Drive resource planning and engagement Coach and mentor team members Drive the development of the benefits plan, its implementation and operational turnover Manage and monitor issue identification, escalation, and resolution Manage risk identification, quantification, and risk response development Report project status and progress Support Product Projects associated to the cost of health care Capture lessons learned in close-out phase
Qualifications: 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree in Business, or related disciple preferred; or a combination of education and experience can be substituted Six Sigma Green, SCRUM, PMP or similar process methodology discipline preferred 6+ years of experience in PDLC Health plan experience preferred Consulting experience preferred Track record of acquiring and retaining customers in a highly regulated industry desired
