The Account Executive is responsible for developing business with prospective strategic customers and penetration and retention of existing customers. The Account Executive must possess a proven ability to develop business, build relationships, network, and communicate both orally and in writing. In addition, they must demonstrate a strong internal/external customer focus and personal leadership, and solid negotiation and presentation skills. The candidate must also collaborate effectively with all levels of management. The Account Executive will adhere to the sales metrics and thresholds outlined for their grade indicated in the Sales Metrics document. Account development includes the following: territory management, lead identification and qualification, cold calling, setting appointments, creating and developing proposals and pricing models, making presentations, documenting customer agreements (e.g., contract, service agreement), closing sales through effective negotiation, documenting sales activities and may conduct business reviews. After the account has been sold, the Account Executive is responsible for partnering with the branch staff to ensure effective service delivery. Successful business development will result in cost-effective, quality solutions for our customers. The Account Executive acts as a business consultant gaining a thorough understanding of the customer-s needs/business issues and selecting the appropriate solution to meet those needs. As such, the Account Executive must possess a solid working knowledge of the complete range of service offerings and capabilities in order to effectively cross-sell multiple service lines. Account Executives must also remain current with competitive trends, staffing/human resource issues and market conditions and their effect on business. Operating within company policy, the Account Executive exercises discretion and independent judgment in making decisions. The Account Executive is responsible for building and maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships not only with decision-makers and end users at current and prospective customers, but also with community leaders and representatives from relevant business associations (e.g., Society of Human Resource Managers).

Job Requirements:
Qualifications: 2-3 years sales, staffing or vendor management experience Must be able to function in complex and matrix environments with multiple stakeholders Ability to develop strong working relationships with all levels of individuals is essential Good communication (both verbal and written), negotiation, interpersonal and decision-making skills are required. Individual must be able to function independently/autonomously yet know when to get management involved. Must also be comfortable presenting to and influencing many levels of management Must be innovative in their approach, willing to take risks and operate successfully in ambiguous situations Attention to detail - with the ability to multi-task, use sound judgment and prioritize are necessary Strong leadership, problem solving and decision-making skills required Must have proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint * The salary listed in the header is an estimate based on salary data for similar jobs in the same area.
