Hello, My name is George Rogers and I am a Recruiter with Kelly Services, Inc., a Fortune 500 workforce solutions company. We are currently seeking to fill an Employee Relations Specialist position in Foster City, CA. I have attached the details of the opportunity below: Duration: 6+ monthsPay: $28.00 - $33.00/HOUR We are a team of Employee Relations Subject Matter Experts responsible for maintaining and continuously improving an employee relations framework that addresses employee and management issues fairly, consistently, and timely in line with company culture and values as well as local laws and regulations around the world. Our team acts as a credible, trusted adviser to senior HR and business leaders by leveraging experience, expertise, organizational awareness, business acumen, and the ability to effectively partner with and influence. We are constantly striving to improve our processes and procedures and look forward to adding new expertise and experience to our growing team.

Reporting to the Director Employee Relations, the Employee Relations Contractor is primarily responsible for maintaining and continuously improving employee relations records and case management; partnering with Employee Relations team members to assist in complying, organizing, and analyzing relevant Employee Relations data, and supporting various projects and other business functions, including but not limited to, investigations, reorganizations, and reductions in force.

Job Requirements:

  • Responsible for the maintenance, accuracy and reporting for Employee Relations case management system.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of employee relations data to identify trends in order help to create and develop programs and initiatives that will support strategic efforts to create an ideal work environment.
  • Manage Employee Relations policy review, maintenance, and publishing sites.
  • Proactively assisting in reviewing, revising and/or recommending Employment Relations policies edits and updates.
  • Assisting with internal investigations, including document review, detailed analysis of business records and applicable policies, and participation in witness interviews.
  • Management of outside vendor relationships and other globally project management.
  • Navigate, compare, and outline various jurisdictional requirements, globally.
  • Proofreading and editing documents.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Requires a BS or BA degree and/or minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Analytics (data management, attention to detail, report pulling)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Labor Soft, PolicyTech, and Workday.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and perform tasks independently with minimal supervision is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills, effective communication skills, and initiative are a must as well as the ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-intensive environment.
