Use your know-how and strong communication skills to act as a Business Development Manager for our high-end and specialty construction projects in the LA area.

Cinergy Construction is a rapidly growing specialty construction company that focuses on high-end residential remodels and new construction. We're also leaders in building cutting-edge specialty spaces such as theaters, recording studios, acoustically sensitive spaces, and safe rooms. We re headquartered in Los Angeles with another office in Northern California.

We are looking for candidates with excellent communication, organization, and an entrepreneurial spirit who are highly motivated and wish to be on a team with hard-working, dedicated individuals who provide the highest quality building and contracting services in the Los Angeles Area.

Our growth has given rise to new divisions of services and channels of business. We re looking for an experienced Sales Representative for our expanding team. We are looking for long-term employees who are team players and looking for a long-term career.

This is an engaging position requiring strong communication skills, special attention to detail and a clear understanding of construction methodologies. The ideal candidate should have at least 4-5 years of sales experience or its equivalent.

This role is based in Los Angeles, but requires travel to San Francisco Bay Area 1-2 times a month.

Title: Business Development Manager

Major Responsibilities:

Prospect for potential new clients and develop existing relationships to increase company exposure and opportunities.

Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails.

Track all prospective customer information and respond to inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.

Proactively communicate with or respond to all customers queries from the beginning through completion of the project.

Conduct client visits to determine suitable solutions for the client s needs.

Take measurements and photos at jobsites and develop a required scope of work.

Generate and present proposals to clients with assistance from our estimator.

Assistant client with design and layout that is related to the scope of work.

Work with production after project is awarded to generate and present change orders related to scope or design changes.

Enter, update, and maintain information and activities on leads, prospects, and opportunities in BuilderTrend project management software.

Deliver sales presentations, arguments, and proposals to B2B and B2C prospects.

Develop systems and procedures to make all departments more efficient and improve the client experience.

Forecast sales and provide input on resources needed in all departments to maintain sales goals.

Attend industry events and provide feedback and information on market and competitive trends

Skills and Proficiencies:

Background in the construction/building industry preferred


College degree preferred, however prior equivalent experience and training will be considered in lieu of a formal degree

Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience in the construction or a closely related field; preferably with a specialty products/services supplier to building companies

Relationships, knowledge, and experience withing the construction materials or services industry

Strong track record in growing sales, including proven track record of selling value and developing relationships with key decision makers and clients

Vehicle and willingness to travel throughout the city of Los Angeles for sales calls, presentations, and meetings
