The individual will provide creative, marketing and communication support of various marketing projects and requests as they develop. The Marketing Specialist must have exceptional organizational and communication skills, and acclimate quickly, multi-task projects and communicate effectively across the ConvaTec team and external stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate and support marketing communications activities including but not limited to marketing collateral development/fulfilment, announcement and document control, various promotions, agency/vendor relationship management, deadline management
  • Aligning digital platforms including websites, mobile, social and email.
  • Implementing day-to-day management of digital channels including crafting, curating, planning, scheduling, posting, analyzing and reporting digital content via multi-platform environment.
  • Optimizing and aligning SEO and SEM efforts.
  • Reporting industry news, trends and competitive information.
  • Process purchase requisitions, expense reports, invoices and budget tracking
  • Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Create and maintain a dashboard for budgets
  • Create and maintain a calendar of events, tradeshows, and conferences
  • Plan meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, coordinating mailing lists, arranging travels and accommodations as needed
  • Attend off-site meetings and trade shows as needed to coordinate the on-site setup of products, materials, etc.
  • Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt
  • Schedule and administer department meetings' setup, invitations, catering, etc.
  • Provide administrative support for documents and presentations
  • Support new hire onboarding initiatives
  • Determine matters of top priority and handle accordingly
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications
  • Special projects and other responsibilities as required

    Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required; degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations preferred
  • Must have a minimum of 2 - 5 years medical marketing communications experience; Agency experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of CRM and SAP
  • Intermediate/advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel highly desired
  • Strong written communication abilities
  • Consistent project management experience
  • Understanding of the medical, regulatory and legal review process
  • Experience managing vendors (strategic and creative agencies, market researchers, contracts and creative briefs, digital, etc.) in the development of scientific and creative collateral materials and programs to drive brand awareness and value.
  • Experience in leading or participating in market research initiatives.
  • Experience in managing budgets and developing or supporting annual plans.
