The Director of Marketing Programs and Brand will be responsible for building and managing compelling external marketing initiatives, offers and demand generation activities that help build the company's brand, product awareness and sales pipeline. The role is also responsible for Virtustream's corporate brand including visuals and core messaging to align the company's global brand across all materials and channels. The role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Office managing a small team of designers and demand generation team members.
+ Establish marketing programs function to support core channel efforts building a nurture cadence and structure.
+ Work collaboratively with product marketing, content and communications to develop compelling relevant programs to support marketing and sales efforts.
+ Develop creative, messaging and demand generation content for various programs and promotions.
+ Develop and execute integrated global marketing plans, communications and campaigns to support new product introductions, sustained lead generation and database growth.
+ Produce global integrated marketing campaigns from inception to optimization with a cross-functional marketing team including content, product marketing, web/online, corporate communications, social media, creative services, events, field marketing, and sales teams.
+ Working with cross-functional groups to develop appropriate messaging, differentiated content, and stories from which to build campaigns; and the ability to leverage the content from those stories in appropriate channels.
+ Establish campaign structure and program for systematic, repeatable and scale-able process that include campaign set up/monitoring in various marketing systems and tools
+ Work with inside sales team on targeted campaigns and effective follow up;
+ Monitor campaigns and make recommendations for optimization, long tail strategies and future enhancements for maximum engagement.
+ Management of project related budgets and responsibility for tracking and monitoring campaign performance and spend.
+ Analytical and results oriented a must.
+ Minimum of 15+ years of marketing programs experience with a minimum of 10 years experience directly managing a team.
+ Proven ability to effectively execute integrated, streamlined marketing programs.
+ Ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels of an organization including the strategy team, executive, and fundamental corporate marketing functional management.
+ Ability to work cross group and drive results across external and internal constituents.
+ Creative thinker that has the ability to bring new ideas to the table.
+ Hands-on integrated marketing planning and execution experience
+ Multi-tasker that can handle a multitude of different responsibilities at one time.
+ Strong sense of urgency and action orientation.
