Job Description
DiD is growing! We're looking for a seasoned VP, Media with health and wellness agency experience to join our growing Media team.
In this role, you will:
* Oversee and manage the day-to-day activates of the media team providing direction on implementation of media philosophies, establishing processes, and leading innovative initiatives for clients
* Install and monitor media processes that lead to flawless execution
* Develop and lead media and investment strategies across all channels, based on consumer & category insights, competitive white space, and key cultural moments
* Lead media team in the development of media strategies, defining the strategic role of each connection point based on business and consumer insights
* Ensure that media team members deliver sound strategic media recommendations based on client objectives
* Possess a thorough knowledge of media capabilities and best practices and utilizes knowledge to lead development and training initiatives within the media team
* Proactively researches industry, category and client trends and brings innovative ideas to the team and clients
Qualifications
* Required: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
* Required: 8-10 years' experience with all facets of digital media
* Experience within pharmaceutical and/or healthcare agency environment preferred
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills
* Proven client service orientation/experience
* Knowledge of traditional media planning fundamentals
* Experience leading communications planning in conjunction with account, creative and strategy personnel
* Previous success in the planning, development and management of integrated media campaigns for large brands
* Demonstrated leadership ability overseeing a media team
* Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as independently
* Demonstrated initiative as a self-starter
