INTRODUCTION:As the marketing leader at Faherty Brand, you will lead the charge in scaling the Marketing team, create structure and optimize roles and responsibilities across the team. This role will work hand-in-hand with the Founders of Faherty Brand in cultivating the brands marketing strategies. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Faherty Brand is searching for an experienced, customer obsessed, and results orientated leader to create and drive a marketing strategy that will optimize the success of Faherty s digital sales while supporting retail and wholesale business. As Faherty s leader of customer acquisition across all channels, the Head of Marketing will drive retention and customer insights for the brand influencing marketing campaigns as well as in-store and out-of-store brand events. This role will directly manage the teams focused on the creation of paid advertising, organic content and social media. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Strategy Develop cohesive, multi-channel marketing strategy and idea generation based on business priorities, market trends and customer insights Create, communicate and execute clear, measurable goals aligned with business strategies; holistic evaluation of fiscal year results Act as a strategic partner to the Head of Merchandising and Planning to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and e-commerce Ensure consistent customer experience across all marketing touch points Partner with Leadership Team and Retail Leaders to continually improve the customer shopping experience, ensure that in-store and out-of-store experience is aligned, consistent, and on brand; identify opportunities for improvement; assist in the strategy, forecasting and measurement of marketing s impact at the store level Drive and manage affiliate marketing, brand partnerships and contest & giveaways Direct oversight of print marketing which includes the catalog and direct mail Identify and research trends in marketing technology and methods. Continuously update team on new capabilities to enhance Faherty s marketing stack Drive vision for photo, video and brand assets Execute and Optimize Revenue Growth Lead and optimize Faherty s online marketing programs with a focus on consumer acquisition, conversion and retention, efficiently and creatively reaching financial targets with an optimized spend that reaches strategic goals Balance branding and ROI-generating activations. Implement opportunities that will grow the business /generate incremental revenue while enhancing brand positioning Manage email communications to customers, including messaging strategy, content and testing Evaluate and optimize triggered emails to customers and define business logic behind customization, campaign prioritization, cadence strategy, etc. Oversee customer analytics across all channels Faherty providing insights that deepen the organization s understanding of the customer. Develop customer acquisition and retention strategies that are agnostic to channel. Ensure PR & Marketing drive conversion through multi-channel content. Create a customer acquisition & retention program, as well as other marketing initiatives and email programs to increase sales Social Media Responsible for planning, content creation and execution of social media and social advertising Define and implement unified social programs and strategies to increase brand awareness, audience, and engagement Create and maintain social calendar to promote product, events, and brand lifestyle while managing team of graphic designers and photographers Manage and forecast digital trends, best practices, emerging technologies, and risks; assess competitors and make recommendations; benchmark Faherty s performance across all channels as it relates to competitors within the fashion industry PR & Events Lead in store marketing efforts and manage partnerships with local advertisers (i.e. Malibu Magazine, Improper Bostonian, etc.) Oversee alignment of marketing and PR plans as well as calendar Ensure PR & Marketing drive conversion through multi-channel content. Create a customer acquisition & retention program, as well as other marketing initiatives and email programs to increase sales Attend key industry and cultural events Work with cross-functional teams to ensure we are driving business in the key markets Act as strategic partner on all Sun Sessions events, Faherty s experiential and content hub, which include execution of retreats, ambassadors, community dinners, concerts and other experiential enterprises Develop and execute a business plan to ignite Sun Sessions into a fully profitable and sustainable revenue generating business channel Maintain current knowledge of sponsorship industry landscape, market trends, key category activity across music, sports & entertainment REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: BA or MBA with a minimum 8 years experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, customer analytics and project management Possesses a strong understanding of D2C marketing Has a love and sound understanding of the retail industry Must have a proven track record in successfully launching new campaigns and executing innovative marketing plans Customer focused decision maker with a strong understanding of print, social and digital marketing Decision making capability clearly driven by conceptualizing future opportunities and developing strategic and business initiatives Stays current with evolving technology and market trends Exceptional people management skills and proven success Team player with a drive for success Excellent time management, verbal and written communication skills Multi-tasker and deadline orientated Ability to self-direct and prioritize many tasks Detail oriented and extremely organized Ability to create strong relationships across the business and gracefully influence Want to apply later?
