Role Summary:Lead business side of the Software P&L of GE Additive. Setting up Software business models, go to market strategies and partner relationships. Consider the software business within context of the overall GE Additive solution offering. Work across the GE Additive organization to implement best practices and consistent policies. Responsible for execution of Software business plans and strategic objectives working with the Commercial organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Reporting to Software GM, Influence and engage executive leadership within GE Additive to foster understanding of solutions and potential for business

+ Be a champion for the Software business within the organization

+ Obtain market requirements

+ Capture & Prioritize product requirements with development and business teams

+ Provide cross functional leadership with R&D, Marketing and other business units to achieve goals

+ Ensure business agrees to plan, assist them in working with the plan and adapt plans to market needs as required

+ Provide GE Additive leadership with reviews of business, needs, and opportunities


+ Master's Degree in Business from an accredited university or college (Or a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience in operations, processing and/or software)

+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in Software Industry (Including Global Group Leadership responsibilities and Business Operations; New product software development including business model creation and product launch; Working experience on SaaS products and how to bring them to market;

Experience leading teams during change)

+ Operational experience

+ Experience working with large and small companies to get wide adoption of products

+ Demonstrated growth within organization to various positions

+ Previous experience in the field with production, manufacturing, process engineering

+ Strong oral and written communication skills

+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

+ Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

+ Must have both a business and engineering mind and be comfortable in both worlds

+ Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects

+ Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs

+ Established project management skills
