The DSC will assist Sales management and Account Executives by providing internal support on all duties for multimedia broadcast sales with an emphasis on digital sales. The DSC will help create unique customized multimedia solutions for our customers. The DSC will accompany the AEs on digital sales call and will be the expert of the stations digital offerings. The DSC will possess strong attention to detail, have strong oral, written and visual communication skills and the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently while hitting deadlines.
Responsibilities will include but not exclusive too:
* Assist with digital sales calls and work with AEs to develop digital campaigns for clients * Be the digital resource for AEs and clients as needed/ help with all aspects of digital sale from research, planning, imputation and follow up * Coordinate the production of digital sales content * Do training of new digital products for the sales team * Work with Sales Manager to develop sales sheets and help generate proposals using all of the stations sales products: broadcast, web, and mobile * Assist sales management in running reports across a variety of software systems * Order entry - as needed * Produce display ads for station and clients * Monitor the station website and FACEBOOK page * Coordinate promotions for both client sponsored projects and internally for station promotions by generating work orders and contracts for the said promo to run * Work with management and organizations to coordinate promotions and logistics for community projects that the station sponsors * Find appropriate PSAs for the station to run/ brand for station/ create contract for running of PSA according to the parameters of the organizations stipulations of running said PSA * All other duties assigned by management
* Proven track record of digital sales success in local media (broadcast TV preferred) * Excellent communicator, listener, with presentation building and executing skills * A team player with the ability to create, build and nurture business relationships * Must handle multiple projects, prioritize and complete specifics tasks on time * Extensive knowledge of digital marketing tools, strategies and processes * Confident personality with a strong sense of urgency and a winning attitude * Excellent analytical and problem solving skills * IAB Digital Media Sales Certification (IAB DMSC) a plus * Google AdWords Certification a plus * Google Analytics experience a plus * A valid driver's license and a good driving record
