This role will support the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) across a range of initiatives from thought leadership, marketing and business development to client service. Projects will encompass our entire healthcare portfolio (public sector and commercial), as well as the application of firm-wide solutions to the healthcare industry. The Associate will assist the CMO in the creation of content for blogs, whitepapers, presentations, podcasts, social media, webinars, etc., by providing research, writing, editing, graphics, and logistical support. Participate in initiatives related to media and public relations, conferences, and sponsorships, and provide client development and proposal support through research, writing, and tracking. Finally, the Associate will spend approximately 50% of time working on billable client work.
**Manage diverse projects:** This role requires the ability to track and drive a broad range of overlapping projects, requiring organizational skills and persistent follow-up.
**Conduct research** : Many initiatives will require supplemental data obtained from both publicly-available and proprietary sources.
**Create and polish content** : Content will need to be written, edited, and presented in a broad range of formats from Powerpoints to whitepapers. The Associate will provide editorial support and help package the final products.
**Engage and collaborate:** This role will interact with staff and leadership both within Guidehouse and among clients and third-parties. The Associate must work effectively across diverse teams.
+ Bachelor's degree with 2 or more years of work experience
+ Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
+ Excellent writing skills
+ Marketing/communications experience
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Powerpoint and Project
+ Experience providing communications support to a client-including developing communication plans, communication messaging, and executing communication tactics.
+ Strong writing skills
+ Ability to meet recurring deliverable deadlines
+ Comfortable communicating directly with clients over email and in-person.
