What you'll do...H&R Block, the world's leader in tax preparation services, is looking for aProduct Manager ? Onboarding and Filingto join the DIY Tax Products & Services team. The selected candidate must have a passion for delivering exceptional experiences for clients, prospects, and associates that align with H&R Block's brand promise of providing expertise and care.This product manager will be focused on evolving the experience for our core digital tax product by deeply understanding our users to better serve their needs and guide expansion of our product line. You will be part of a team that believes in working fast, being accountable, and learning from mistakes.Live and breathe the voice of the customer, understanding what makes our users unique, and drive a plan for how we can make their lives better through our product suite.Understand and evaluate how customers make product selections, ensuring we get our users to the right product the first time.Ensure customers have success with filing and paying for their tax returns.Drive improvements in the amendment and extension flows.Partner with internal teams to evolve the personalization of the user's account and profile experience.Create and maintain a vision and executable roadmap for DIY's core product growth strategy by deeply understanding the needs of our customers.Recommend expansion of product line by evaluating customers' jobs to be done.Evaluate partnerships with external vendors to deliver customer value.Work closely with leadership team to meet or exceed goals focused on client and revenue growth and conversion improvements.Partner with internal tax teams to ensure product is complaint and accurate.Must be able a strong communicator and customer advocate.With occasional to minimal leadership guidance, know and demonstrate proficiency in the following areas.Customer Empathy:Identify customer pain pointsPut the customer firstActively and clearly communicate customers' problems and how our products can solve themAdvocate for your customers among your immediate teamsCreate customer delight and deliver signature moments Technical:Understand how our applications are built and the company's tech stackDeliver new technology ideas and help the team understand emerging trends Strategic Thinking:Fully understand the vision for a feature, product, or product line and be able to execute on that visionFully understand and complete competitive analysisHave a greater sense for what is possibleBe proactive about emerging trends, market focus and how it applies to our businessBe able to persuade and negotiate your feature and/or position to others. MBA or Master's Degree preferred.?At least 5 years of product management experience?Understanding of formal product management methodologies?Familiarity with structured technology delivery/software development lifecycles.?Demonstrated decision-making, analytical and problem-solving abilities?Track record of establishing priorities and meeting deadlines?Demonstrated experience, knowledge, and ability to champion agile development methodology?Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and product planning tools?Experience with user-centered design and research?Ability to adapt rapidly in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and the ability to react quickly, dynamically, and intelligently?Must be self-motivated, committed, and accountable#hrbjob.
