Quality Communications Project ManagerJob Description:Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.Responsibilities:Manages and leads a program involving one or more functions and project teams to promote quality culture and drive the quality improvement process for a subsystem or component of a product or service offering.Responsible for technical and executive communications supporting Total Customer Experience and Quality (TCE&Quality) OrganizationResponsible for Voice of the Customer (VoC) events (logistics through completion of event) working directly with US Executive Briefing Center teams, Account Teams, and CustomersDevelops schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for assigned program.Coordinates activities of supporting project teams and internal and external partners; tracks progress against established plan and makes decisions to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to stakeholders; collaborates with management and internal development, manufacturing and service delivery partners to implement changes to product, process, or program plan to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules.Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.Education and Experience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quality Management, Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalentLean Six Sigma or other Quality certification preferred, but not required.Typically 4-6 years experience.Knowledge and Skills:Using project planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Demonstrated experience coordinating and directing matrixed teams and resources.Ability to create and manage program schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plansExcellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels.Impact/Scope:Collaborates with peers, engineers and program managers, technicians, and external and internal design, manufacturing and service delivery partners.Typically interacts with high-level Individual Contributors, Managers and Program Core Teams.Leads a project requiring quality process development and improvement.Complexity:Moderate.U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident (green card holder) required.Hewlett Packard Enterprise Values:Partnership first: We believe in the power of collaboration - building long term relationships with our customers, our partners and each otherBias for action: We never sit still - we take advantage of every opportunityInnovators at heart: We are driven to innovate - creating both practical and breakthrough advancementsHPE is an EOE / Female / Minority / Individual with Disabilities / Protected Veteran StatusWhat do we offer?Extensive social benefits, flexible working hours, a competitive salary and shared values, make Hewlett Packard Enterprise one of the world s most attractive employers.
