Job Description

The Business Development Associate will be responsible for the development, penetration, and scheduling of client appointments in support of InCrowd Interview, our recently launched SAAS technology solution for primary qualitative research in the life sciences sector. Additional responsibilities will focus on creating leads for InCrowd s core quantitative product offering. Your success will be the first step in helping drive the company s achievement of customer acquisition and revenue goals primarily related to InCrowd Interview, but secondarily for legacy InCrowd products.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills and be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization, including the Executive Team, Sales, Finance, Product and Marketing colleagues. We are seeking a self-starter who can recognize where sales opportunities exist, able to message effectively a SAAS technology solution to a risk-averse, non-technology oriented persona and who will take the initiative to implement company growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage new accounts to generate sales of a unique real-time market information platform, primarily for InCrowd Interview, our newly launched SAAS technology solution for primary qualitative research in the life sciences sector.
  • Solicit prospects requiring up to 150 calls per day
  • Research and create targeted sales lists of potential buyers across the life science agency, consultancy and market research organization space
  • Interact with clients/prospects to identify appropriate contacts
  • Manage daily activities through our customer relationship management database (Salesforce.com)
  • Provide follow-up with prospects and clients
  • Generate leads and book demos through cold calling and strategic email outreach
  • Research new opportunities across the US using rankings, news stories and existing contacts to source new prospects
  • Absorb all of InCrowd s product and sales knowledge, arming yourself with all the intelligence you need to inform and reassure our prospects
  • Identify and pursue new ways to reach specific target markets
  • Work closely with InCrowd Interview s Subject Matter Expert / Technical Advisor on a daily basis

  • Proficiency in MS Office, LinkedIn and hunting leads via the Internet
