Our first product, the Blaze system, provides a novel approach to high-throughput detection and identification of subtle protein modifications - modifications that can undermine the stability and efficacy of life-saving drugs such as monoclonal antibodies. Our early technology partners include many of the world's most successful biopharmaceutical companies.

We have an immediate opening for a Senior Product Manager in Newark, CA. This individual will be a strong contributor in leading the product definition for Intabio's cIEF-MS instruments, consumables and service as well as contribute to future product strategy and roadmaps. The successful candidate will have experience in commercializing protein characterization instruments from concept to launch and can work cross functionally to define customer requirements to our R&D team.

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Define market requirements and generate customer input through conducting VOC and market research to understand key market trends, use cases and customer requirements for cIEF-MS integrated systems.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders that can become product advocates, provide business insights, identify market needs and trends, and become beta testers for new products.
  • Work cross functionally with R&D to ensure new products meet customer requirements while focusing on delivering on-time.
  • Work cross functionally with Marcom to execute on content marketing to support demand generation activities, including product launches, meetings and to support sales and revenue goals.
  • Conduct seminars, webinars and present scientific posters to leading customers at scientific meetings.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in product management at a life science tools company.
  • Bachelor's degree in a life science discipline is required. Masters, Ph.D. or M.B.A degree a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in new product development and commercialization of protein characterization instruments, reagents and consumables.
  • Experience in protein characterization workflows and supporting Biopharma scientists is required.
  • Effective team player with ability & willingness to wear multiple hats is desired.
