Job Summary: Working in a fast-paced sales environment in the innovative cloud services arena focusing on our Email Security products, Spam Filtering, Email Archiving, Email Encryption, Web Security etc. The candidate will manage the existing fast-growing customer base, build strong relationships with channel partners & upsell/cross-sell new backup products to the existing base. Job Duties: The Senior Account Manager (SAM) will be assigned 300 to 500 top tier Customers which will make up his/her assigned base of business. The SAM is responsible for managing this existing, but growing customer base; build strong relationships with Partner Resellers and Direct End User Customers and upsell/cross-sell new backup products to this existing base; prospecting and closing a new Opportunity pipeline of business from this base; on average the SAM will need to close $3K to $5K of New Upsell Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) per month. Responsible for account renewals and managing the customer retention program, where by the Senior Account Manager must manage the renewal business pipeline daily and maintain regular contact with all open renewal business opportunities, and deliver results against weekly, monthly, quarterly forecast objectives and provide & maintain a 3 month rolling forecast and track sales activity in Salesforce.com. Provide sales support across all assigned partners. Sales support can consist of product webinars, pre- sales conference calls etc. Build and expand account intelligence for opportunities for account growth and new business. Maintain regular contact with existing customer base and ensure that customer issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, working closely with the Sales and Support teams; Must be available to travel for face-to-face visits with your top 30 Customers to conduct business reviews, prospect, uncover and close Opportunities Provide regular two-way communication between customers and the Excel Micro team. Relay customer feedback to team in order to improve our processes. Review, monitor & report on sales and retention performance by channel Ability to meet deadlines and quotas set by management Strong computer skills. Must have experience with Salesforce; Be open to training and following direction. Accountability and Performance Measures Achieves assigned sales quota in designated territory. Job Requirements and Experience: Documented results from similar position, with minimum of 5+ years business sales with professional IT cloud services and IT-security products. Excellent written and verbal skills. Goal and result oriented, with experience in valued based selling. Structured and analytical and able to leverage existing and new professional network relations to identify leads and opportunities. Positive, customer-focused service-minded attitude.
