Kaihatsu Media is a digital media agency focused on developing brand awareness andsales growth through social media marketing, optimizing digital marketing spend and developinginfluencer marketing programs.

Overview:
We are seeking an experiencedSocial Media Marketing Coordinator to join our team.This person will report to our Director of Operations with various marketing tasks such as the development and execution of social media strategy, supporting clients and their social media needs, content creation and other marketing tasks.

This position is full-time and remote. The ideal candidate will be in New Jersey or the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania.Willingness to meet once or twice a week in a co-working office setting to work alongside our Director of Operations as needed. Must be a self starter. Be prepared to learn a ton everyday about digital marketing and social media strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience creating organic posts, deploying, monitoring and managing social media and social media ads on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
Craft attention-grabbing copy to create an exciting and valuable content experience for our followers across multiple platforms
Monitor, respond to and moderate social media conversations on managed platforms
Share community feedback and identify potential issues
Assist with creation, writing, and maintenance of communications
Understanding of current social media trends, the platforms, and dashboards
Prepare and distribute weekly summary reports for all clients
Constantly monitor social media channels and engage with posts, popular hashtags and join pop culture conversations / moments in a proactive and timely manner to cultivate community
Continually test new content types and channels based on industry trends.


Desired Competencies:
Passion for all things Digital & Social Media
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Thorough knowledge of the top social media networks (Facebook, YouTube, TikToK and Instagram)
Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
Must be able to meet deadlines and department performance standards
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and maintain a fast-paced workflow
Excellent customer service skills
Deep knowledge and interest of social media, including a curiosity about the latest industry trends, technology, and changes
Outstanding, error-free written communication skills, including the ability to master a brand voice
Comfortable being on camera for content creation
Working knowledge of popular photo and video applications including
Photoshop / ImageReady / Final Cut / iMovie
Graphic design skills and experience are a plus
