The Vice President of Marketing for Oribe sets global marketing strategy to support revenue & profit growth. This includes setting marketing & brand strategy, creating and leading execution of omni-channel and regional/channel marketing plans, leading market and trend research running the e-commerce and digital marketing platforms and leading social media/influencer.. This incredible position will report to Daniel Kaner, Co-Founder and President of Oribe Hair Care and will be a part of his management team, helping to set and execute corporate strategy.. Responsibilities. Branding and Brand Development:. Creates short and long term brand strategy to drive top and bottom line growth.. Leads the creation of a consistent brand experience across all regions, channels and touch points.. Responsible for brand identity and telling the brand story, brand visuals and campaigns (photo, video, etc.), and consistent and elevated design execution across all marketing assets.. Preserve/grow categories and segments (e.g., color).. Omni-Channel Marketing:. Responsible for launch planning and in line support strategies, including but not limited to, overall program and execution, sampling and promotional plans, product knowledge training; internal and external communication, social media, and merchandising.. Supports global, regional and local markets and interfaces with cross-functional team (sales, product devopment, PR, etc.) to gain alignment and execute strategy.. Market & Competitive Research + Trend Forecasting:. Interpret & analyze data to support sales channels, develop marketing strategy and support product development.. eCommerce + Digital Marketing:. Oversee and grow Oribe.com website, from visuals and execution to sales performance and profitability.. Interface with external partners to drive eCommerce sales (e.g., bidding on words, optimal site design).. Social Media & Influencer Strategy:. Lead development of social media & influencer campaigns to drive sales and build brand awareness and engagement.. Brand Management:. As member of Management committee, support brand president, General Manager and Senior Leadership Team in setting brand strategy, identifying future brand opportunities, and assessing and reporting performance to senior Kao management.. Leadership:. Manage, coach and develop team, as well as provide informal coaching to individuals outside of team.. Act as leader in New York Office.. Qualifications. MBA or advanced degree in a marketing discipline preferred. 10+ years in beauty and/or fashion industry, or other related industry
