Kforce has a client in search of a Product Owner/Agile BA. Responsibilities:
  • Understand the overall roadmap as determined by the Product Manager and/or Client
  • Partner with Product Management and/or the Client to create and maintain a product backlog that reflects their objectives
  • Prioritization of Product Backlog
  • Interacting with Product Management and/or external Clients in creation of Epics and Features into user stories
  • Work closely with the scrum master, Agile Team, UX Team and QA to translate roadmap into team specific release plan and sprint plan
  • Provide an active role in removing/mitigating impediments impacting the Agile Team/Sprint Goals
  • Identify interdependencies as uncovered during planning sessions
  • Assist QA team in reviewing the test cases and with story validation if required
  • Review stories completed by development team in a sprint against acceptance criteria and UX
  • Guide and mentor team members on how to use Agile/Scrum best practices, values and principals
  • Mentoring team members on the Agile Framework and coordination of their deliverables
  • Ensure product aligns with company mission and goal

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's (BA or BS) in Business, Computer Science, or related field; Master's preferred
  • 3+ years of previous experience as a product owner, business/product analyst, or in a related field supporting Agile Software Development
  • In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies, technical understanding of products, and up-to-date on industry standards and best practices
  • Experienced professional with Scaled Agile framework
  • Experience in SAFe practices and processes, desired
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel); working knowledge of software development
  • Proficient skills, with Jira/Atlassian product family, or like, products for managing user features and stories, scope management, project management
  • Comfortable working with multiple teams, in-house and remote
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Strong technical and problem-solving aptitude
  • Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with business analysts, UI/UX team, leadership, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders
