This position reports directly to the VPGM and has overall responsibility for program management and business practices & policies across all EOIS sites. The person in this position will also lead the implementation and planning of business unit & corporate strategic initiatives across all EOIS sites as directed by the VPGM.. Basic Qualifications and Required Skills*. U.S. Citizenship is required. Bachelor's degree in marketing or engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree preferred. Knowledgeable in marketing and experience developing a competitive marketing strategy. Well-developed skills in the area of planning, organizing, negotiation, and communication. Must possess outstanding analytical skills. Previous experience in business operations helpful. Experience with acquisitions, joint ventures, due diligence necessary. Demonstrated successful executive presentation skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Duties and Responsibilities*. Perform specific and delegated duties as assigned by the VPGM. May coordinate customer meetings and executive level meetings with strategic partners for VPGM. Overall responsibility for program management and business practices & policies across all EOIS sites.. Overall responsibility for developing, planning, coordinating, and communicating strategic business operations initiatives. Support the VPGM and other members of senior management team with the plans/objectives to achieve the strategic plan, and develops and conducts continuous reviews of established objectives for progress. Lead the identification of high potential talent across the organization to assure pool appropriately skilled and competent professionals capable of assuming greater levels of responsibility across the PM organization. Recommend remediation strategies for operating units within the organization that do not consistently meet the short- and long-range objectives. Seek out, investigate and assess outside opportunities for the company, including possible acquisitions, joint ventures and mergers. Report and provide status of findings to VPGM and other Senior Leadership as necessary. Responsible for understanding the entire portfolio of products and services across the Company, including products and services under development. Assess the Company's Strengths and Weaknesses relative to the competition and emerging market trends and lead development of DRS response to assure market leadership. Assess and coordinate overall corporate plans and other planning studies being conducted within the Company. Assist other Functions and Groups in their planning activities. Recommend initiation of the plans/studies when needed. Play a key role in the identification and mentoring of high-potential talent with the goal of assuring a ready stream of promotable candidates to assume leadership positions in Business Development. Support Corporate meetings and report in areas of responsibility as requested by Senior Management. Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
