The Maria Tash brand is based in New York with worldwide headquarters and its flagship store that opened in 2004. It wasn t until 2016 that the Tash expanded internationally with the opening of a shop at Liberty of London. Following this, the brand has continued to open piercing and jewelry destinations in Rome (Rinascente), Dublin (Brown Thomas), Harrods of London and most recently the world s very first piercing destination in the Middle East at the Dubai Mall. With a cult following of celebrities including Rihanna, Zoe Kravitz, Julianne Moore, Jennifer Lawrence and Charlize Theron to name just a few, the brand is the leading destination for influencers, industry insiders and tastemakers around the world.


Duties

Returns and Exchanges:

  • Responsible for processing client returns both physically and digitally.
  • Receives incoming client return packages, and processes/tracks the product through its lifecycle as a return or exchange.
  • Works closely with the fulfillment team to pull and ship exchanges within deadline.
  • Maintains client paperwork and records of reasons for return - Ensures that all paperwork is accurate throughout processing.

Repairs and Damages:

  • Responsible for processing internal and external repairs.
  • Perform inspections of jewelry to determine what is repairable, what is non-authentic, and what implies a potential quality issue.
  • Acts as point person between local jeweler and back of house team to support client repairs and internal repairs or item conversions as needed.
  • Prepare damaged stock for return to vendor.

Customer Experience:

  • Works closely with Client Services and Fulfillment departments to manage client expectations by communicating repair details, condition, and projected outcome at time of drop, looping in management when needed. Not a client-facing role.

Data and KPIs:

  • Maintains accurate records of repairs, common repair and return reasons, and client paperwork. Ability to pull and create concise reports on an ad hoc basis.
  • QA of returned stock, alerting Inventory team on recurring quality issues.


Skills/Qualifications

  • Handling of OPIM to strict standard - Training to be provided.
  • High level of accuracy, organized, and meticulous.
  • Strong ability to multitask and manage many moving parts.
  • Previous back of house/ RTV experience preferred.
  • Body jewelry and/or piercing experience welcomed but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
