Position

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to work within our Studio Team. We are seeking a talented, hard and motivated Production Manager with meticulous attention to detail and a strong a sense of ownership and pride to their craft. Reporting to the Director of Production, Creative Services, the Production Manager will be responsible for managing the Boutique & Presell shoot process from beginning to completion. The successful candidate will join a growing, dedicated Studio Team and have a real voice in the development and execution of the brand s visual content. While working as part of the wider studio, he/she will appreciate being part of the Studio Team and enjoy facilitating the sharing and learning of new skills from this group of talented individuals.

What You'll Do
  • Schedule photo shoots in the most efficient and cost-effective manner
  • Manage the workflow of the Boutique and Presell shoot process
  • Manage the Sample Assistant(s) and the Sample Coordinator
  • Ensure styles and looks are shot and named correctly
  • Ensure all styles are shot and retouched according to their upload date
  • Collaborate closely with the Retouching, Buying, Creative, Marketing, Warehouse and Retail Operations teams
  • Be pro-active, able to show initiative and suggest ideas to constantly improve the workflow and quality of the Studio Team, as well as the wider business
  • Who You Are
  • 5+ years experience producing photo shoots (preferably in the luxury realm) at a photo studio equipped to shoot multiple sets per day
  • Experience in a leadership role that requires both client-facing and team-management aspects
  • E-commerce and merchandise management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiating skills / manages talent and standard production documentation
  • Exceptional organization and management skills
  • Strong industry knowledge and relationships with agencies and freelancers
  • Strong financial and budgetary acumen
  • Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and anticipate needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively and value differing perspectives
  • Must be self-motivated, flexible, and agile
  • Must be willing to work off hours as needed
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, evolving environment, and responds to change with a positive attitude
  • Experience with Microsoft and Google applications a must
  • Experience with Merchandise and Digital Asset management systems
  • Enthusiastic about Moda Operandi, e-commerce, and fashion overall
