National HealthCare Associates, one of the premier providers of Long Term Post-Acute Care, is seeking a Veteran Sales & Business Development Executive to lead census growth efforts company-wide at our 40 Facilities in 7 states throughout the Northeast and New England. The VP will oversee direct and indirect staff consisting of Regional and Corporate Sales, Marketing, Communication, and Business Development Directors and Managers while collaborating, consistently communicating, and maintaining relationships with senior executive leadership, regional operations leaders and other stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Directs and coordinates activities of sales and marketing department for managed facilities and aids chief administrative office in formulating and administering organizational policies by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.
Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range census goals and objectives.
Directs and coordinates activities of Marketing and Sales department for which responsibility is delegated to further attainment of goals and objectives.
Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated census and revenue goals and objectives.
Confers with chief administrative officer and other administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.
Serves as a member of the Executive Committee


Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:
Master's Degree or equivalent experience in health care management, marketing and sales.
7-10 years, in in multi-facility Long Term Post-Acute Care/Skilled Nursing business development, sales, and census management.
A minimum of 2 yrs in multi-state, multi-site, oversight role as CMO, SVP, or VP with a for-profit provider of Long Term Post-Acute Care with 3k+ residents.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.
Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics on top management, public groups, and/or board of directors.
Must be able to travel as needed, est. 50%-75%
