About You We are looking for a Performance Marketing Director to lead our direct marketing initiatives. The person in this position will be an integral part of our overall growth plans and will lead our strategic efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and leading our paid and organic media and SEO acquisition strategy as well as developing, recommending, and executing marketing strategies across a variety of paid and organic channels. The ideal candidate knows how to build and scale complex online and offline marketing campaigns, uses their insights to think up creative solutions, and brings the analytical expertise necessary to optimize performance and drive ROI. Responsibilities Oversee agency partners for all paid digital media channels including social, display, email, native, search and affiliate. Develop the core email communication and creative strategy Continuous testing of messaging, content, creative and user funnel Work with content, creative and tech to execute email strategy Create email marketing calendar around customer acquisition, retention and engagement Maintain email deliverability, improve open and click rates A/B Testing on the acquisition funnel to improve conversation rates Lead our landing page strategy, development, and optimization Be a key partner across all growth marketing-related analytics efforts. Have a perspective and define and implement a growth roadmap to optimize our conversion funnels and engagement. Lead our internal team and external agencies to deliver the best performance across digital channels (search, social, display, affiliates) and offline (TV, radio, OOH, direct mail) Manage a multi-million-dollar direct marketing budget across channels to meet performance and business goals/metrics Requirements 6-8 years of experience in a direct-to-consumer CRM management, retention marketing and email marketing history of owning, succeeding and delivering on retention KPIs Strong analytical, problem solving mindset Proven ability to hit all critical KPI s with a brand centric mindset Extensive experience with email marketing and ESPs (MailChimp) Exceptional organizational skills and detail-oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment that requires quick turnaround with high quality output
