With the Global Services division, starting Jan-2012, Open Systems has expanded into the ITO & BPO Projects/Solutions business.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Provide direct and substantial support of the team's revenue and margin objectives via the followingResponsible for selling and closing Cloud Services for public cloud environment; working with the account teams to educate them on service portfolio and account planningInfluencing and supporting RFP, customer presentations, demonstrations, POCs of Cloud Service and SolutionsBeing able to articulate hybrid cloud solutions to the business problems mentioned using the full product SuiteSupport the growth of our client s public cloud consulting practiceBe a credible lead in discussions on public/hybrid cloud solutions with customers and analystsEducate customers and delivery teams on agile development methodologies and DevOps options, best practices, and toolsetsGather and document client requirements, and translate them into solution and services offering for the customerUnderstand the client's business goals, information needs, application requirements, IT plans and architecture and, articulate and defend linkage to the proposed architecture and application designsComfortable with travel 50%Qualifications:5+ years Presales experience with Cloud10+ years of Professional Services experience with major SIsExpert level knowledge and working experience of AWS/Azure/Google products and servicesSignificant working knowledge or hands-on experience of Data warehousing/ETL/BIExperience for proposing complex service offers to meeting customer requirementsProven hands-on cloud migration solution delivery experienceDemonstrate capability to design cost effective high available systems on public/hybrid cloud and with environment estimation toolsProven capabilities in relational database, and Hadoop, technologies in the application development environment (e.g. Teradata, DB2, Redshift, RDS, Oracle, HortonWorks, Cloudera, etc.)Operational knowledge of third party DI, BI, Visualization and Analytical tools and emerging technologies Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Job SummaryNew York, NYContract
