Description: The VP of Global Strategic Marketing will report to the VP and General Manager, Cardiovascular and will be responsible for the cardiovascular market development teams and productivity. The revenue and overall success of a new launching product will depend heavily on the strategic planning, output, and key resources hired for the Strategy and Development team. The incumbent and his/her team will manage the launch of a new product to market, be responsible for strategically branding the product, developing global strategic pricing and influencing market penetration. The incumbent will support the General Manager in building out a field force to market and sell the new cardiovascular product. This position is a vital role in the business strategy and overall financial success of the company. Responsibilities: Market strategy lead for the cardiovascular division including Cholestagel, mipomersen and additional pipeline products Direct efforts to establish co-promotion partnerships with pharma companies to expand and better leverage the EU asset in new European and International markets. Develop strategic plan for overall resource allocation and infrastructure needs to ensure a successful commercial launch Work with medical affairs leadership to establish a comprehensive cardiovascular medical affairs and market development plan
