Tomorrow Networks, a division of Aptus Health located in NYC, is expanding the marketing team to support enhanced marketing initiatives and branding efforts. Tomorrow Networks provides mobile advertising and analytics focused on the health and lifestyle sector. Its approach leverages a combination of mobile, location and other data signals to identify the greatest areas of opportunity for engaging a target population-including both consumer and healthcare professional audiences.
This role is focused on effectively positioning and driving awareness of Tomorrow Networks' digital and mobile products within our portfolio. As part of the marketing team, this role will also serve as a liaison between Aptus and the Tomorrow Networks division to ensure that product positioning and messaging is aligned with corporate messages and objectives. This individual should be able to translate business concepts and product capabilities into market-facing content and manage the rollout of associated promotional campaigns. This position will also play a proactive role in identifying relevant product marketing opportunities and engaging a company-wide team of product owners. The role requires work in a matrixed environment with direct reporting into the Corporate Marketing function and regular day-to-day collaboration with the Tomorrow Networks division leader.
This position will be based at the Aptus Health headquarters in the greater Boston area with some travel required as applicable.
Primary Responsibilities / Job Duties
* Independently perform market research using primary and secondary tools, including relevant industry reports, and deliver actionable reports and recommendations to management * Independently prepare and present marketing recommendations to management and other internal decision makers * Develop product positioning and messaging guidelines and best practices that differentiates our products in the market and translates technical capabilities into benefits * Identify and communicate the value proposition and messaging to the sales team * Create, update, and deploy marketing material and assets * Plan and implement the launch of new products in collaboration with Product, Corporate Marketing, and client facing teams * Work closely with the Corporate Strategy and Insights department to understand our target market's buying criteria and support the Sales teams * Work closely with the Corporate Marketing team to develop and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your product * Interface with agencies and freelancers as needed * Support social media, inbound marketing campaigns, and live events * Design, implement, and manage feedback mechanisms for our product portfolio from both internal and external audiences * Develop new marketing initiatives and protocols based on market research performed, management feedback obtained, and effectiveness of prior activities observed * Demonstrate measurable benefits of marketing activities listed above
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar related degree. * Master's degree in Marketing preferred * Experience in product marketing for a software/managed services company * A solid background in digital and multichannel marketing and a strong business acumen are essential for this position as well as an excellent knowledge of the healthcare/pharmaceutical sector * Good listening, strong communication and relationship-building skills
