Responsible for Marketing strategy development and execution for specifically assigned Dealer segments to support the growth of the indirect channel. Ensures strategic alignment with channel field marketing and channel sales teams to create and execute innovative and strategic channel activities that increase awareness, generate partner leads, strengthen customer and channel relationships, and build pipeline and sales opportunities.Develops and executes sales and marketing communications, tools, programs and go to market strategies with Dealer field leadership to drive revenue.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Is the Dealer Marketing SME with a key understanding of Ricoh's differentiators and core business in the indirect channel to assist in the development of marketing insights, value props, brand strategy and and competive analysis. * Sets the strategic and tactical direction for channel marketing activities that generate revenue * Partners with the Marketing Communications team in the creation of sales collaterals, marketing support materials, press releases and other customer & field related communications with the goal of positioning RUS as a leader in the industry. * Collaborates with services and product teams to develop launch plans, packaging, communications, positioning and deployment plans to drive partner and market awareness and sales * Collaborate, create and execute comprehensive go-to-market marketing plans that include market potential and partner scorecards that help channel partners achieve a healthy pipeline * Deploys and executes against established strategy with sales leaders and sales teams. * Create and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans that help channel partners achieve a healthy pipeline. Identifies gaps and new opportunities for channel strategy. Work with marketing stakeholders in developing plans, programs and execution strategies. * Partners with the Strategic/Portfolio Marketing team to ensure channel strategies align with the strategic direction outlined in the strategy document for the assigned channel * Engages and creates on-going joint customer success stories & partner councils as well as field focus groups for market research and RUS' voice of the field. Responsible for communicating that information to adjust marketing strategies,programs and tools as well as strengthen partner relationships. * Collaborates with the Demand Generation and Content teams on developing a campaign strategy and tactics that drives revenue. Ensure lead generation and demand creation targets for all channel marketing activities are forecasted, planned for and met; this includes establishing lead generation metrics with partners against joint marketing plans * Collaborates with Field personnel to develop, design and deploy field relevant, value added sales enablement marketing and support materials. * Drive awareness and enablement programs that inform partners of the latest campaigns, solution offerings, partner wins and tools that the organization is creating to help them grow their businesses * Collaborates on the crafting of sale tools and marketing incentives that help drive channel revenue. * Measure, analyze and report on channel marketing pipeline-building activities to determine their contribution to pipeline health and to evaluate marketing effectiveness/ROI * Manage, administer, measure and report on channel budgets and co-marketing funds
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)
* 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience is required. * Minimum of 7-10 years in a marketing or sales role is required. * Minimum of 5 years of B-to-B marketing experience required * 3-5 years of experience working within channel marketing and supporting partners * Ability to utilize standard software applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
* Joint partner planning. * Demand creation, data, and analytical skills. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills. * Strong project management skills are a definite plus * Customer, competitive, market or general business intelligence experience. * The ability to assess current state and balance with desired end-state. * The ability to prioritize. * A willingness to work cross-functionally with other marketing, field and HQ resources. * Must be highly motivated with the ability to multitask and manage time
