Job Brief

The Pricebook Coordinator is responsible for working with the Marketing department and Pricebook Manager to oversee the day to day operations of the food service Pricebook, coordinating the Pricebook integration with other systems, such as point of sale, kiosk and accounting.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Determine and implement the setup of new food service items for the Pricebook utilizing recipe items and recipes.
  • Maintain weekly cost and retail changes, as needed by the category managers.
  • Setup vendor rebates and billings.
  • Work directly with category managers and vendors to ensure that vendor information is received on a timely basis in a standard format.
  • Work with vendors to electronically receive Pricebook and invoice information.
  • Process vendor invoices and Pricebook imports via EDI and manually resolve any issues.
  • Qualifications

  • Associates degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Three to five years Pricebook, experience in the retail industry with exposure to a retail category structure and retail reporting.
  • Must be computer literate in a Windows environment with Outlook, Word and must have strong Excel knowledge.
  • Experience with PDI Enterprise, PDI MarketLink, PDI FocalPoint, Radiant Register and a Kiosk strongly desired.
  • Must possess demonstrated competency in the following areas:

  • Judgment, initiative, and the ability to deal with complex relationships and ideas, and the confidence to make timely and informed decisions.
  • Be able to multitask efficiently.
  • Work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to details, a keen sense of urgency, ability to refine the Pricebook procedures.
  • Have general understanding of accounting processes and procedures.
  • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Interpersonal skills which relate well to a diverse workforce.
