The Global Social Media Business Lead (SMBL) is responsible for ensuring adoption of all the digital social ecosystem touchpoints within the Business Unit (BU). They will be a key driver in the Brand to Order transformation by providing the content and strategy to maximize the impact to Schneider's brand awareness, engagement and lead generation.
The SMBL has the overall responsibility for driving the vision, strategy & execution of social media & content roadmap globally.
In order to make this happen, the SMBL will collaborate with the segment and business marketing professionals and the different digital marketing teams to support all digital media initiatives including: paid, owned, and earned media, from strategy through execution. They will also be responsible for working with our data and analytics team to report on channel activity and results to further enhance our content strategies to grow our awareness and engagement.
The SMBL will lead the various BU social media programs, creating the strategy for the BU. These Social programs will be integrated into cross channel marketing campaigns such as: Influencer Marketing, Employee Advocacy, User Generated Content, and social media network specific requirements.
This person will ensure all content is consistent with our brand positioning and supports our brand messaging and voice through segment and solution marketing communications. Responsibilities Data Quality & Maintenance
o Maintain data quality across all systems and tools for proper reporting and training.
o Help maintain proper tagging and coding within our social media tools
o Ensure execution of the data taxonomy that is aligned across Global Marketing tools to allow for ease in reporting and future integration (naming conventions, reporting, etc.)
o Detailed data investigation and analysis of known data quality issues
o Serve as subject matter expert and point of contact for analysis and insight of social media results provided by digital analytics team General Responsibilities
o Collaborate with the Marketing organization to develop integrated communication campaigns initiatives that maximize the impact of strategic messages against prioritized targets and social programs
o Collaborate with and manage creative studios and campaign teams
o Create, execute and optimize social media strategies and plans, across multiple audiences and channels, to broaden awareness and optimize demand generation efforts.
o Demonstrate a deep understanding of the target audience needs when developing BU social strategies, campaign strategies and reviewing social messages
o Help build and optimize social media and content marketing programs focused on audience engagement and improving brand awareness
o You will drive day-to-day strategic and executional support for Global Social Media efforts to Global and Local teams
o Manage individuals for day-to-day operations on multiple social media channels, scheduling social posts, moderating and responding to comments, and fielding customer support requests
o Collaborate closely with global teams to maintain content calendars
o Execute on the Global Social Media Playbooks, and Social Media Policy and procedures
o Distribute and communicate any updates to social guidelines and policies to the local teams

o Ensure our tool set is operating at peak efficiency
o Comprehensive understanding of all modules, tools and social media platforms being used, as well as stay on top of trends in the industry
o Utilize global reporting for all users to access: adoption, usage & performance to set comparative benchmarks and identify trends Qualifications Qualification and Knowledge required
Bachelors degree or equivalent
- 3-7 years' experience in digital media, marketing, social media
- Strong writer and speaker.
- Generates tangible media and communication results.
- Support the creation and promotion of thought leadership reports.
- Ability to partner closely with colleagues in marketing to ensure alignment of all marketing, public relations and ongoing communications efforts.
- Strategic and creative thinker able to design actionable, measurable programs which align with and advance business objectives.
- Confident in his/her ability to provide strategic counsel to senior executives on content
- Able to think and act quickly, analytically and creatively to accommodate dynamic business environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence key partners and build support within organizations.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to executives and a variety of audiences
- Fluent in digital media as it relates to corporate communications and reputation management.
- Excellent project management and coordination skills, deadline driven with a team-player attitude and meticulous attention to detail.
- Knowledge or experience with Google Analytics, Sprinklr, and Salesforce.com, a plus
- Desired knowledge of SEO practices, Google Analytics, YouTube Analytics ..etc
- Understanding of organic and paid social activities
