If you are looking for an opportunity to coordinate and assist in the proposals of multi-million dollar projects with internal and external teams around the globe, then this position is for you!Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesServe as technical lead and actively participate in complex project conceptual design to develop successful proposals for SEL equipment, services, and systems.Understand and analyze customer requirements and come up with innovative solution using SEL technology.Lead project teams to resolve customer concerns and foster customer satisfaction.Visit customer site for pre-bid presentations and post-bid meetings to defend submitted proposals.Work with contracts, accounting, S&CS and other divisions to come up with winning strategies for available opportunities.Work with Marketing to generate successful projects case studies. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.Understand. Create. Simplify.Other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsB.S. in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline8+ years relevant application experience with electric power systems or industrial automation system practicesDemonstrated knowledge of electric power system protection and control, integration and/or automation and communications applicationsDemonstrated knowledge of electric power system design, studies, information and communication technology and protective relay applicationsWilling to travel both domestically and internationally a minimum of 25% based on focus areaDemonstrated ability to lead and supervise project teamsExcellent writing, documentation, and speaking skillsAbility to learn new skills and assume new responsibilitiesAbility to work cooperatively in a team environmentBackground check results satisfactory to SELNegative drug test result(s)Preferred QualificationsProfessional Engineers License or equivalent certificationElectrical utility, industrial plant, consulting engineering, or system integrator experienceProject management experienceWorking knowledge of Vision or other project management tracking software Physical RequirementsNoneLocation InformationSEL s corporate office is located in Eastern Washington where you'll enjoy an unmatched quality of life.
