The Public Sector Enterprise Programs Team has an exciting position for a Contracts Specialist! Due to the influx in contract utilization from our growing sales organization and the increased number of SHI-awarded contracts, an additional resource is needed to help with contract management. You will have the opportunity to distinguish yourself as the subject matter expert for Public Sector Contracts by engaging with PS sales leaders, our top strategic partners and 200+ Field and Inside Account Executives. You will work on winning new OEM/Partner contracts and consortia agreements. Once we are named on new contracts, you will coordinate onboarding efforts across all departments and lead trainings for the appropriate teams. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: New Contracts Manage process for adding new vendors to SHI s NASPO Cloud contract Actively engage with various parties to ensure that all concerns are met to fully execute a contract Coordinate with manufacturers/distributors that are looking to add SHI to new Public Sector contracts Compile research and run sales reports to complete business plans, applications and information requests Submit contract documentation to Contracts Team portal Aid sales with the capture/maintenance of new state contracts, amendments and renewals Sales Training/Support Primary administrator for Contract Library by ensuring all entries are current and accurate ties directly into SalesCenter, AX and SHI.com Central point of contact to vendors and internal SHI departments for all inquiries relating to state/cooperative contract vehicles, NASPO SVAR, NASPO Cloud, OMNIA Partners, and any other contracts Read contracts and understand SHI s commitment to the contract for product and services, contractual obligations and requirements in the delivery of services Provide industry subject matter expert support to SHI Contracts Team as needed Onboarding Manage the onboarding of new contracts across internal teams, including field sales, inside sales, SM SLED and sales support. This includes: Maintaining organized files of contract documentation Extracting Contract Library data points from executed documentation and/or bid responses Notifying sales about new contract wins and providing details on how to use properly Working with other internal teams to ensure SHI s compliance with any contractual requirements (reports, mandatory markups, etc.) Analysis Track all contracts due to expire and proactively engage with sales teams to determine whether we should pursue renewal Determine which contracts should be used in each region by analyzing utilization to establish which are the most profitable Specify which contracts reps should use to maximize gross margin across various verticals Marketing Assist with the creation of copy for contract-related marketing materials, such as email blasts, newsletters and one-pagers Manage upkeep of shi.com contracts landing page and mySHI contract page Distribute leads to relevant sales teams
Qualifications/Minimum Skills Required
