Shindig is looking for a entrepreneurial and tech-savvy business development leader, with healthy pre-existing networks in one or more of the following industries: film, publishing( books and magazines), television, youtube and music industries to help spearhead adoption for our revolutionary large-scale online events platform already developing adoption by major tech leaders and media entities. This position involves marketing to every level of the media organizations in order to take these entities from pilot programs to institutional broad use as wells as to notable personalities. Building on past relationships and general knowledge of the industries, the position entails strategic initiatives to build impact, cultivate timely highly visible adoptions and develop scalable business opportunities. Out of the box thinking in creation of new use cases and ability to rapidly develop new pitches are key components of the challenge. Experience with advertising, media tie-ins and sponsorship deals are highly beneficial. Applications range from film: early fan cultivation events, super fan sneak peaks, online press events, celebrity Q&A's, online premiere events, online focus groups, sponsor tie-ins, media events with websites, magazines, etc. TV: fan roundtables, episodic viewer engagements, contests, continued online features, sponsor tie-ins, etc. Music: music video premieres, live from the studio, back stage access events, tour promotion, single release events, acoustic sets, super fan access, books, authors and QA's.. Desired Skills & Experience. Position requires familiarity with the marketing infrastructures of the film, television and music industries, direct experience in how they approach the development of marketing plans and specific knowledge of the landscape of new media options they utilize and why. Candidates should have significant experience in the creation and implementation of digital marketing campaigns. Prior experiences with sponsorships and event creation are also a plus.Candidates must be driven to succeed, innovative, analytical, well organized, able to juggle many diverse and competing responsibilities simultaneously, and be familiar with all social media tools, analytics and digital marketing metrics.
