This position leads BUXOM Global Marketing including creative content development, product development, digital/social and education and artistry. This position operates in a highly collaborative environment and works closely with all cross-functional departments, US and international teams and obtains alignment to ensure consistency of message across all consumer touch points and best in class launch execution. Essential Job Duties Lead Global Marketing Lead BUXOM Global Marketing, develop and communicate key brand objectives and strategies to build brand equity & accelerate growth Manage the strategic development of Annual Global Marketing Plans including category strategies, new launches strategies, core product re-promotes, exclusives offers, marketing calendars, sampling strategies, and pricing Manage the Creative Agency, (JWalk), to ensure all campaigns and marketing and digital assets express the BUXOM unique brand positioning and voice Develop global objectives/strategies and unique positioning and concept for each new launch including COGS and pricing Oversee global development budget including campaign, content and product development Partner with internal teams to oversee the development of launch strategies and assets including: visual merchandising, collateral, creative assets, digital and education needs Ensure BUXOM Brand positioning is clearly articulated with key brand differentiators Lead development of strategic influencer collaboration including contract, creative exploration, assortment and launch strategies Provide US and International with the necessary tools and launch support including guidelines for markets to forecast new launches in partnership with operation team, launch strategy decks, retailer presentations, marketing updates, marketing plan, ensure effective and efficient communication Provide input in on US and key market pricing and media plans Manage product portfolio including overseeing integrated alignment and execution on the following: SKU discontinuations, SKU productivity Global Digital/Social Oversee Global Digital and Social and owned platforms Create engaging content to appeal to target audience Partner with digital media team to provide content for always on social content strategy Product Development, Innovation, and Consumer Insights Accelerate innovation; lead creation of 3 year innovation plan and strategic marketing planning Oversee Product Development to identify strategic opportunities to drive brand growth Identify key trends and guide fast track innovation Oversee consumer insights and market research, panel analysis and market intelligence effort including competition monitoring Brand Content and Voice Own BUXOM brand book updates and ensure adherence across all touchpoints and markets Approve all consumer facing assets and copy including product, email and social/digital media Ensure voice consistency across all consumer facing touch points globally including brand and product taglines, product storytelling, merchandising copy, media copy, digital/social copy, email campaigns, product naming convention, collections and brand partnerships Provide content to support digital always on content strategy Develop Team Lead, inspire and motivate team; effectively manage 4 direct reports Develop processes and optimize team to meet business needs Qualifications Minimum 10+ years of experience in beauty Global Marketing Preferred to have experience overseeing a combination of Global Marketing, Social & Digital, Product Development and/or Education/Artistry. Equally strategic, analytical, creative and pragmatic Highly engaged in digital and social platforms Proven creative thinker & strong creative sensibility Strong leader with flexibility and ability to move quickly in a fast paced environment; commands authority Proven track record in brand building and successfully launching and executing innovative marketing programs Want to share this job with a friend?
