TheBusiness Development Manager, SNF Telemedicineis primarily responsible for creating market awareness and demand through a variety of outreach methods and pipeline management for Sound Telemedicine.

This position will be responsible for managing SNF Telemedicine sales opportunities from lead generation through proposal and contract execution. This position will require close collaboration with the Sound Telemedicine, Business Development, Population Health, and Regional Operations teams to drive optimal sales performance. The Business Development Manager, SNF Telemedicine will have a superior knowledge of market intelligence and play a major role in Sound s business development efforts, establishing initial value presentations and competitive differentiation with Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) executives, administrators and Directors of Nursing, while providing support throughout the duration of the sales cycle.

The Business Development Manager, SNF Telemedicine will assist with: market segmentation, data collecting and analysis, sales pipeline management as well as building presentations and financial proposals.

  • Create and execute outreach and partnership BD strategies, in conjunction with the VP of Business Development, to targeted skilled nursing facilities, hospital ACOs, and health plans/capitated providers
  • Work with marketing department to construct SNF Telemedicine messaging and collateral, and implement business development strategy
  • Manage inbound SNF Telemedicine leads& facilitate sales process
  • Manage RFP process from start to finish in conjunction with subject matter experts
  • Present SNF Telemedicine solution, including value proposition and competitive differentiation
  • Work with financial analyst to build financial proposals
  • Manage post sales meeting follow up: data collection& follow up calls
  • Maintain data base (Salesfocom) to track pipeline, KPIs, and activity progress
  • Knowledge of business research methods, from data mining to market research methods, from data mining to market research
  • Passion for business information - inquisitive and creative desire to learn and gain knowledge about the marketplace

  • Must be very knowledgeable with all aspects of Salesfocom sales management software.

Minimum: Bachelor s Degree

Preferred: Bachelor s Degree, with a focus in Healthcare


Minimum: 3 years of healthcare sales or business development experience, including collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing market data

Preferred: 5 years of sales or business development experience with a specific focus on the SNF or post-acute care space

  • Indoor office environment
  • Attendance at customer/prospect meetings and certain trade shows required, approximately 20% travel
  • Sitting at desk for up to eight hours (w/breaks)
  • Working on computer for up to eight hours (w/breaks)
