Objective of the role

This role will contribute to the execution of the strategic marketing plan to ensure marketing contribution to NA pipeline goals are met. This will include campaign level responsibility for demand generation using a broad range of online and offline programs and ensuring the conversion of inquiries to marketing qualified leads.

The role will work closely with territory and account executives; corporate marketing specialists; product marketing; and, other team members in a fast paced and rapidly growing market.

The work load will include executing on a variety of campaigns that could include customer and/or partner events; digital marketing (email campaigns and social marketing in partnership with the global demand management team); advertising, promotions, and other marketing activities. The goal of each member of this team is to increase sales, profits, market-share and customer engagement for the North American region. This contributor will consistently monitor campaigns/events and analyze results and derive recommendations for future activities.

  • Execute against the NA marketing plan that aligns with NA Sales goals and includes agreed and measurable targets and objectives
  • Goal of achieving 30% of the directing sales 3x pipeline individually responsible for the majority of the NA contribution
  • Manage the successful delivery of field marketing programs and activities as part of the plan that leverages the full marketing mix including digital; off-line; a variety of events approaches and has the ability to innovate routinely
  • Implement and manage the execution of go-to-market programs and campaigns for assigned sales teams in the North Americas region
  • Build sales engagement, trust and partnership with the direct selling organizations and leaders in West, Central, East, Canada and Inside Sales
  • Execute demand generation and expansion efforts through targeted communications based on functional, buyer and influencer personas
  • Assist events team on key activities
  • Track, measure and report in a timely manner the success of each program against overall objectives.
  • Responsibility for the proper use and accountability for a component of the NA marketing budget
  • 5+ years of experience in business-to-business marketing
  • Minimum BA/BS in Marketing, Journalism, or related major.
  • Experience in field marketing and demand creation (online as well as offline)
  • Integrated marketing program planning & execution experience
  • Results from complex ABM campaigns
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with sales persons
  • Experience with sales & marketing automation systems
  • Experience with Marketo welcome
  • Experience with SFDC welcome
  • Self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, multi-tasker, creative and analytical
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Excellent time management and organization skills required.
  • Intermediate computer and word processing skills required, especially in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel
  • Travel 25-40% (managing regional lead generation events and participating in sales QBRs routinely)
