Director, Product Mgmt. Consumer Electronics/ NAE

The Director of Product Mgmt. will be responsible for growth and profitability of large volume or strategic product lines. The individual in this role will manage a minimum of two Product Managers and will be responsible for strategic direction, product planning, fiscal budgets and interfacing with key managers throughout the organization and with vendor partners.

Manage revenue and profit growth of product lines assigned.

Direct and manage a group of Product Managers and/or PM Managers/Directors.

Development and execution of strategic business and marketing plans.

Manage broad range of vendor or strategic-line relationships.

Negotiate with vendors and other external providers.

Analyze results, understand trends, and present to the executive team on a regular basis.

Pursue and establish additional vendor relationships with assigned segment.

Consistently work on abstract ideas or situations across functional areas of the business.

Identify and evaluate fundamental problems for major functional areas through assessment of intangible variables.

Interact internally and externally with executive level management requiring negotiation of extremely difficult matters to influence policymaking.

What makes you a bestseller?

Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of fifteen years of related experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Masters Degree preferred.

Consumer Electronics or Retail Experience is preferred but not necessary

Advanced understanding of finance concepts and budget management.

In-depth understanding of product lines assigned.

Proven experience forecasting and budget planning.

Thorough knowledge of functional area, business strategies and company goals.

Demonstrated business communication skills, including but not limited to verbal and written communication skills.

Must have proven success in presentation.
