**P** The Regional Marketing Manager for North America, Food Protection will be responsible for driving localized commercial execution for the full suite of food protection products across his/her region. He/she will work closely with the Commercial organization to guide and support them with analysis, targeting, and customer-specific sales approaches. **Key Responsibilities:** + Develop and implement a winning regional marketing plan for his/her region aligned to the Annual Operating Plan + Develop and execute marketing campaigns, whether region-wide or country-specific + Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in his/her territory + Proactively collect market intelligence in his/her territory, feeding it back into the organization to drive better strategic planning and execution + Support Commercial organization with customer targeting, support material (e.g., total-cost-of-ownership models, battle cards, etc.), and expert guidance on food protection products + Create business cases for North America New Product Initiations + Join on high-value sales calls as the food products expert **Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:** (Bullets) + Sales/Marketing degree or microbiology degree preferred but not required + 3-5 years' experience in direct sales with food customers, life science exp preferred + Experience in marketing or experience collaborating closely with regional marketing colleagues while in Sales + English required; one additional language in territory preferred + Ability to create strategic plans, translate them to tactical programs, and drive execution + Strong track record of driving improvement in business performance **Personal attributes:** + Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple work streams + Ability to listen and influence across teams (without direct authority) + Willingness to travel (25%-50%) + Tenacious and driven to succeed **Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:** (Bullet 3-5 key quantifiable skills or position requirements that the candidate must have to be considered for this position.) + 3-5 years' experience in direct sales with food / industrial customers + Experience in marketing or experience collaborating closely with regional marketing colleagues while in Sales + Ability to create strategic plans, translate them to tactical programs, and drive execution </script>
