The company is looking for an Associate Product Manager to manage one or more software development efforts through design, implementation, release, and support phases. TicketNetwork Product Managers work on an individually assigned portion of our larger portfolio, which includes dozens of products and initiatives that vary in size and technical requirements. Each assignment is slightly different and associates will have the opportunity to work on products that are each at different stages in their life cycle and touch a wide range of customer types.?


The Associate Product Manager is expected to be detail oriented, drive results, and identify new opportunities in addition to managing ongoing projects. This is a great opportunity for somebody willing to work hard, collaborate with a diverse team, and exercise critical thinking to aid problem solving.?


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Define requirements and work with the development team on company products/initiatives through all phases of the product lifecyle (including inception, design, development, release, review, support)

  • Understand the company's business model, customer needs, and industry trends

  • Assess the potential for new and existing initiatives, and make recommendations to management based on findings and experience

  • Work directly with product users (customers) and act as their representative when writing business requirements

  • Communicate with product stakeholders to ensure their needs are met with requirements/goals are achieved

  • Translate business goals into detailed user stories (requirements) for prioritizing the product backlog

  • Assist in the product release, create release notes, update change logs, and advise support teams

  • Create, review, and update business documentation and user documentation for product(s)

  • As subject matter expert (SME), manage day-to-day operations of product(s), coordinate product maintenance/support efforts, and evaluated reported bugs for escalation and triage

  • Coordinate within and among multiple product development teams in order to achieve major company initiatives

  • Evaluate the expected ROI of specific feature sets or new products and compare to actual results if implemented.

Required Experience:



  • 1 to 3 years of experience working in a product management or software development environment

  • 1+ years of Advanced Microsoft Office skills in a professional environment


Preferred Experience:



  • Previously experience with vendor contracts and licenses

  • Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Familiar with .NET framework

  • Experience working on a cross-functional team

  • Experience working in e-commerce, high transaction-focused or entrepreneurial companies

  • Experience working in Scrum or similar agile development framework


Education:



  • Bachelor's degree required in Business Management, Finance, Marketing, Project Management, Computer Science or related field


Schedule:



  • Monday-Friday, 9:00AM to 6:00PM

  • Additional hours may be necessary to meet business needs
