Reporting to Triton Digital s President of Market Development, the SVP of Market Development & Strategy, Audience Research will be responsible for the primary market development and strategy for Triton s audience research / measurement products. This position can be based out of any North American location. High Level Accountability: Recruits and develops clients for audience research products. Serves as product line expert and internal champion for measurement with publisher development teams. Assists teams with sales process; trains, explains, and demonstrates as required. Leads the negotiations of major client agreements and advises revenue teams as needed on deals. Sources and manages partnerships related to measurement business globally with a focus on revenue growth through client development and participation in international measurement RFPs/tenders. Represents Triton to the industry at conferences, through speaking engagements, social media, and other channels. Acts as key internal thought leader on audience research / measurement practice. Constantly looks for opportunities to advance Triton position through product development. Researches and understands marketplace opportunities in order to best position Triton measurement products for growth. Plays a central role in measurement product strategy and planning; Actively collaborates with sales, marketing and product teams regarding competitive dynamics and go-to-market plans. Seeks and exploits opportunities to increase knowledge of media ratings and current industry practice regarding their use. Acts as internal and external company expert on all media measurement issues. Actively seeks out buy-side evangelism and training opportunities intended to increase the value of Triton data in the global advertising agency communities. Conducts regular agency presentations and training on Triton audience measurement. Works with measurement clients as needed to educate buyers and train sellers in use of Triton measurement products. Qualifications and Experience A background in both traditional and digital media audience research is required; Expertise regarding current conditions and trends in media measurement. Specific knowledge of the international measurement of audio and video media. Multiple languages (such as Spanish) and a familiarity with software-based census-level digital measurement as well as survey / meter-based techniques is a plus. Authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to travel 50% of the time; international travel is also required. Extraordinary communication and presentation skills with an ability to speak and present to both large and small groups. to establish credibility and rapport with both CEO level executives and function area leaders, and to adapt communication to different cultures.
