Pratt & Whitney seeks an experienced corporate social responsibility professional to support of the company's philanthropic, volunteer and sustainability initiatives.
**Key responsibilities include, but are not limited, to:**
The Brand Specialist will assist in the ongoing implementation of our global brand. She/he will contribute strategic guidance on enterprise-wide projects by representing the brand and reinforcing its purpose and value. She/he will also assist in maintaining the company's brand standards and visual identity system and will consult on its applications.
The chosen candidate will be a communications professional with significant experience in branding, design, advertising, and media. She/he will demonstrate a high level of creativity and a proven ability to support alignment within the context of a defined brand strategy.
Above all, the chosen candidate will serve as an ambassador for the brand, always promoting it and advocating on its behalf.
This position is based at Pratt & Whitney headquarters in East Hartford, Connecticut.
**Among other responsibilities, the chosen candidate will:**
+ Support and assist in the implementation or advertising and promotional campaigns designed to reach multiple target audiences.
+ Assist in the planning, design, and dissemination of creative assets, collateral, and promotional items.
+ Collaborate with other communications specialists to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
+ Work with customers, vendors, and suppliers to support strategic goals.
+ Measure analytics to help assess project effectiveness and ROI.
**Do you meet the Basic Qualifications?**
+ A Bachelor's degree (B.A) from an accredited college or university in Communications, Marketing, or a closely related field and 5+ years of related experience and/or training are required.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) is required.
+ Experience with graphic design, video, photography, and social media is required.
+ Experience working with creative agencies is required.
+ Experience designing creative assets and/or working with designers to design creative assets is required.
+ Experience working in a cross-functional environment is required.
+ Understanding of brand management, positioning, graphic design, advertising, and media is required.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
+ The ability to prioritize projects and produce high quality and quantity outputs is required.
+ Strong quantitative and analytical skills are required.
+ Some travel may be required for this position.
+ This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but will help provide training and guidance to brand ambassadors.
