The Email Marketing Coordinator will support the execution of email marketing initiatives that will sales, and engagement supporting DTC, stores and events. He/she will be responsible for optimizing the email program for maximum performance, analytics, reporting and testing. This role oversees day-to-day execution of email marketing campaigns from ideation, calendar management, implementation, deployment, constant testing and optimization.
Responsibilities Execute, maintain and develop email marketing campaigns. Manage campaign set-up, deployment, campaign segmentation, testing and prioritization. Develop strategies and implementation plans for new email program initiatives with a focus on a personalized experience. Work closely with Analytics to translate new and current customer insights into action. Work with partners from web team to create optimized campaigns and support strategies that lead to new opportunities for growth. Report and distribute campaign analysis and hindsights. Communicate key learnings, actionable strategy, and recommends. Support triggered and transactional programs, including optimization of existing programs and development of new programs. Test and QA campaigns. Approve all sends/automations before scheduling. Work closely with ecommerce team to make improvements to email templates and data architecture. Collaborate with interactive designers in order to optimize email campaigns and evolve strategies according to results. Stay current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to email and omni-channel marketing Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications 3+ years of relevant experience in email marketing Experience with an enterprise level ESP with direct experience deploying and optimizing email campaigns -Cheetahmail, Responsys, ExactTarget, or similar ESP Detailed knowledge of email marketing best practices, including having created and optimized successful segmentation strategies, and both domestic and global regulations including CAN SPAM Experience with Coremetrics, Omniture, Google Analytics or similar Strong planning and time-management skills, with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines Proven strategic thinking, analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills. Strong project management and process development capabilities. Strong analytical skillset and metrics Intermediate or higher Excel skills HTML understanding preferred. Strong team player with a proven track record for working cross-functionally to drive success Excellent interpersonal and communication skills alongside keen attention to detail, follow-up and organizational skills
Bachelors in Marketing or related field preferred
