Job Summary

Undertakes a major role in leading projects within the Strategy Office. Manages and leads problem-solving for different projects and coordinates the work of other team members (both within SO and outside). Manages work independently on multiple projects and oversees others work. Develops specific areas of expertise and help the Senior Strategy Partner develop frameworks, perspectives, tools, processes, and analytics related to that area. Leads cross-functional teams in their area of expertise as required.


  • Undertakes a major role in leading projects within the Strategy Office.
  • Participates on multiple projects, helping to structure the work, manages work efforts (their own and those of others), structures and completes complex analytics, writes and gives presentations for senior executives, and develops relationships with cross-enterprise teams.
  • Leads smaller projects independently.
  • Manages teams of people for parts of project work.
  • Independently structures meeting agendas, facilitates meetings with more senior stakeholders, guides group problem-solving, and develops work plans coming out of meetings.
  • Participates in the development of SO toolkit/perspective on their area of expertise including: conceptual framework, standardized analytics, standardized processes, tools/templates, and training based on the work in their projects.
  • Builds relationships with peers across enterprise on project teams and within domain of expertise.
  • Participate in office initiatives to improve Office effectiveness and set agendas.
  • Understands and interprets basic business drivers.
  • Solves multiple parts of complex problems independently.
  • Structures and completes complex analytics independently.
  • Writes presentations related to their work independently and presents in front of senior executives.
  • Builds trust-based, influencing relationships with more senior peers. Manages small to medium projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Builds office processes/culture/tools.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Business or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience, with majority of time in either healthcare (within organization or consulting) or technical role matching job.
  • Background in operations, analytics or consultative role preferred.
  • History of achievement and ability to influence change in large organizations required.
