Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally.? Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital.? We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

The Lending Product Manager will own core Lending Products for Commercial Banking.? Focusing on Term and Revolving Lines of Credit for the businesses.?? The team members will take on product simplification efforts aligning with the Transformation teams.

Accountable individual for program / product / project delivery of significant risk, complexity, scope, and financial impact for a single large functional area or a combination of small diverse functional areas. Serves as the primary liaison between the business unit and various support partners in achieving business deliverables; includes: planning and implementation of strategies, policies and process advancements. Establishes priorities and drives accountability for assigned initiatives, providing leadership to ensure solutions are designed, integrated and controlled to optimize effectiveness, account for all aspects of risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate. Works with key internal and/or external partners, possibly including agency representatives, regulators and auditors, to distill complex concepts into pragmatic and simplified/targeted solutions. Develops and implements reporting/information delivery/presentations with key stakeholders and senior management within responsible area, including root cause, cost/benefit, and risk analyses. May provide direction to a cross-functional team using business acumen and expertise; does not have direct reports.

Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit?s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services
  • 5+ years of leadership experience





Other Desired Qualifications
  • 10+ years of product management experience.? 8+ years of direct team member management experience
  • Partner with team members developing career aspirations
  • Process Management / Six Sigma
  • Broad Lending Product Management background with experience building diverse teams servicing complex lending business lines both domestically and internationally.

  • Financial Services
  • Product Management within major Financial Services Company
  • New Business Initiative experience
  • Finance / Loan Pricing experience
  • Legal / Loan Documentation experience


Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
